LOS SANTOS, COOPETARRAZÚ

On October 13, 1960, a group of 228 producers founded CoopeTarrazú, whose drive led to the consolidation of the organization, which currently brings together nearly 5,000 producers who depend on coffee to support their families.

Their coffee is grown between 1,200 and 1,900 meters above sea level in ideal climate and soil conditions. They promote sound environmental and social practices that give the coffee its unique characteristics.

Coffee remains the central focus of CoopeTarrazú and the Los Santos area. Around it, personalized services for coffee growers are developed, as well as complementary commercial businesses that generate employment and benefit the community.
