La Chiapaneca S.C.C.L. was founded in 2019 in Barcelona, during a challenging period that tested the resilience of many projects.

In the midst of the pandemic, a group of entrepreneurs decided to commit to something bigger than a business: a cooperative with purpose.

From the beginning, we had a clear vision: to introduce Mexican specialty coffee to Spain and Europe, respecting its origin, dignifying the work of coffee growers, and offering a high-quality product at a fair price for everyone.

We are a social impact cooperative that works with small producers and cooperatives in Mexico and Peru. We believe in a model based on ethics, responsibility, and consciousness, promoting sustainably grown coffees, ecological practices, and transparent commercialization.

Each batch we select tells a story of territory, tradition, and effort. We are committed to traceability, fair trade, and long-term relationships that generate real value at the source.

We are proud to be ambassadors of Mexican specialty coffee in Europe, bringing unique, artisanal coffees full of identity to our customers. We also incorporate other origins that share our same philosophy: exceptional quality, respect for the producer, and social commitment.

You can buy our specialty coffees at the market in Barcelona's uptown area, in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi. We also have a selection of other products, such as chocolates and gourmet products.
