Chiapas is one of the states that harvest more Arabica coffee in Mexico and that’s why La Chiapaneca acquires coffee from this state. We have the opportunity that our product is part of an emblematic ecosystem of the country, “The Lacondona Jungle”, one of the largest lungs in Mexico.
Our coffee is harvested from September to January and is collected manually. The 150 producers move from their homes to their field every day for the good care and management of coffee plantations and so get exotic citrus fruit characteristics and a good exceptional cup.
To contribute as a cooperative in the care of Arabic coffee from start to finish, we roast and grind the coffee in Catalonia, (Barcelona) naturally (without sugars) and we keep its quality thanks to the packaging, wish has a valve and the coffee remains fresh as if it were freshly roasted.
The medium roast of our espresso ground coffee is ideal to have an intense flavor without losing the citrus fruit flavors and a brown cream, a long and pleasant taste when trying it in a home espresso machine, in a coffee maker Italian mocha and in the Aeropress coffee maker.
As a cooperative with business ethics, a part of our benefits will also go to social projects in Chiapas.
